Courtney Castle , Ph.D.
Courtney Castle is an assessment designer and educational researcher. Courtney has designed small-scale and large-scale educational assessments for a variety of topics and ages, most significantly in elementary math and science and teacher certification.
Previously, she collaborated to design the curriculum and assessment system at the High Meadows Graduate School of Teaching and Learning in Cambridge, MA. She has also conducted research on assessment practices and teacher professional development. Her interests include competency-based assessment and equitable assessment practices. She received her PhD in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment from Boston College in 2018.
