Biography

Charles Pittack is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Certification and Competency-Based Education (C3Be) and a doctoral candidate in the department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Kansas. Charles has teaching experience at the elementary classroom level and higher education. His areas of specialization include elementary social studies, elementary curriculum, teacher dispositions, critical reasoning, ethics, and epistemic testimony. His doctoral research is on in-service teachers development of narrative imagination around DEIB, with an expected completion date by May of 2024.
